I just wanted to share this e-mail that my mother sent me...

God, when I received this e-mail, I thought... I don't have time for this... And, this is really inappropriate during work.

Then, I realized that this kind of thinking is... Exactly, what has caused lot of the problems in our world today.

We try to keep God in church on Sunday morning...

Maybe, Sunday night...

And, the unlikely event of a midweek service.

We do like to have Him around during sickness...

And, of course, at funerals.

However, we don't have time, or room, for Him during work or play....

Because.. That's the part of our lives we think... We can, and should, handle on our own.

May God forgive me for ever thinking...

That...There is a time or place where...

HE is not to be FIRST in my life.

We should always have time to remember all HE has done for us.

If, You aren't ashamed to do this...

Please follow the directions.

Jesus said, "If you are ashamed of me, I will be ashamed of you before my Father."

Not ashamed?

Yes, I do Love God.

HE is my source of existence and Savior.

He keeps me functioning each and every day. Without Him, I will be nothing. But, with Christ, HE strengthens me. (Phil 4:13)

This is the simplest test.

If You Love God... And, are not ashamed of all the marvelous things HE has done for you...

YOU CAN TRY THIS AT HOME...
Get a saucepan. Put ½ cup of vinegar, ½ cup of soy sauce, 1 heaping teaspoon of minced garlic, about ⅓ teaspoon of ground black pepper and mix them with about 2.2 lbs of pork (cut in cubes, I prefer 1.5in x 1.5in x 1.5in but it's entirely up to you how you want to cut them). Cook and boil until pork is tender.
Optional: once pork is tender you can add a can of quail eggs, boil for a minute and serve.
You just got yourself a "pork adobo"! Now isn't that fun? This is one of the easiest and one of the most popular Filipino dishes.

Hello everyone. I'm Romel and I've created this blog to be able to share some of my stuff to the rest of the world. I will be talking about different topics here (whatever comes to mind) that you may find interesting (If you don't then that's not my problem). You may also ask me questions and if I don't know the answer, I will try to find out for you. This is my first post so I should introduce myself and let people know what I'm about.

First and foremost I believe in God Almighty. Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. I was born on July 20. My parents are Rogelio and Melodia (that's where I got my name from -- ROgelio/MELodia). I have two brothers and a sister. Like many Filipinos, I like to play pool. I own a Meucci 97-12 20oz. cue. I also bowl a little bit (I only go just to hang out with family and friends). I have a 14-lb STORM Triple Xtreme. I also play chess and currently have a 1687 rating at Yahoo. I like listening to music especially jazz and classical. I'm a big fan of Oscar Peterson, Bill Evans, Art Tatum, Chick Corea and of course Bobby Enriquez. When it comes to classical music I like listening to Frederic Chopin, Claude Debussy and Sergei Rachmaninoff. I currently live in Irving, Texas but back in the Philippines I played piano at Makati Shangri-La Hotel, EDSA Shangri-La Hotel, Harris Bar and Grill and Tonette Restaurant to name a few.
